This guide covers the full installation of the ALTIQ™ Rock Light Pro: a pure white, high-output underbody and work light designed for 4WDs, utes, and commercial vehicles. It covers mounting, wire routing, and both wiring options: direct circuit connection and the 10 Output Harness Kit.

Step 1: Mounting
Select a mounting location for each light. Two fastener options are included:
- Machine Screw: use where you have rear access to the mounting surface. Secure with the Washer, Split Washer, and Nut.
- Self-Drilling Screw: use where rear access is not possible. Confirm there is nothing behind the surface before drilling. Secure with the Shoulder Washer.
Warning: Do not overtighten. Maximum torque is 15Nm. Exceeding this will damage the light.
Once the light is secured, press the waterproof Rubber Cap into the centre screw hole and snap the Optic Cover into place. Repeat for all lights.
Wire Routing
The Flat Rubber Mount supports two cable exit configurations:
- Rear Exit: cable exits through the back of the mount, suited to panel mounting where the cable runs behind the surface.
- Surface Mount: cable exits through the bottom, suited to exposed or external mounting positions.
A 30° Rubber Mount is available separately for angled mounting surfaces.
Keyed Connectors
Each Waterproof Connector is keyed and inserts one way only. Align the connector carefully before pushing it in, then thread the waterproof collar until locked. Do not force the connection; misaligned pins will bend or break.
Step 2: Wiring
The Rock Light Pro supports two wiring methods. Choose the one that suits your setup.
Option 1: Existing or New Circuit
Each Rock Light Pro includes a 1m bare-wire pigtail - black (negative/ground) and red (positive, 10–30V). Connect directly to any switched, fused circuit (5A recommended), existing accessory circuit, switch panel, or fuse block.
Option 2: 10 Output Harness Kit
The Rock Light Pro 10 Output Wiring Harness connects up to 8–10 lights through a single relay and switch, wired directly to the battery. Two 1m extension cables are included to reach rear-mounted lights.
Route the harness from the battery along the chassis, with the relay mounted in the engine bay. Connect each light's Waterproof Connector to the harness outputs. Secure all cables with cable ties as you go, and protect any cables near sharp edges or moving parts with split conduit.
